Aware of all obstacles faced by the disabled in their daily life, we have decided to do our best to provide them with means of reading.

Ebook

Our novels are available as an ebook in PDF format. These are downloadable from the online shop on this site.

This format allows for playback from all common terminals (computers, I-Phone, Smart Phone ...).
For a better reading comfort for visually impaired people, it is possible to increase the font size without limit. The selected texts can be read by a speech synthesizer.

Our selection

All our books, except the photo albums and other visual formats, shall in the end be recorded by actors in CD-rom format and marketed through the bookstores distribution network, and also through associations for the help of handicapped persons. In this second case, the retail profit margin shall contribute to the operations of these associations.

The authors

Alain Gravelet

Alain is a man of passions, fond of long-lasting trips, especially in Asia, photography, animals, computer science, and writing of course. His work (adapting the websites' contents to the handicapped persons, among them the blind and visually handicapped people) has gained him the professionals' recognition.
Multi-faceted artist, Alain is also a photographer, and several long-lasting trips around the world have provided material (pictures) that can be seen today on his website (see www.gravelet.net).
Living on good terms with cats for a long time, an experience that provided inspiration for this first novel which is a kind of tribute to his most faithful friends.

Crocus

Former student at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Louis Lumière, Crocus is a freelance photographer. For some time he has been a specialist on writers' portraits, and he is a photographic reporter as well. He has an artistic point of view about his topics. About the portrait photography, Crocus says it is a more intimate and personal type of photography. It does reveal much about the photographed person, but also much about the photographer's eye.
He also pays special attention to cats, and wishes to share his vision with the book's readers.

Story in brief

My name is Kochka. I am the storyteller, and if you speak or read Russian, you guessed I am a cat. When I entered this home, Mèo, who's older than me, was already in. He took care of me and raised me. Mèo is a rebel, adventurous and sexually outlaw. Long and dark haired Néko came later. Little Mèo is our son, - mine - I should say. Néko and I are male cats, and each of us had a good time with good-looking Patsy when she spent a few days in our house. I was on duty daily, and at night he was, but I know I am the father.
Two humans also live in our home, Alain and Crocus, who brought me here about two years ago.
You shall as well meet other characters, playing secondary or main parts, other cats, doggy shaped soft toys, a real dog – hysterical French female mastiff – other men and women and a profusion of multi-coloured croquettes.
